Der Königspalast von Madrid ist die offizielle Residenz der spanischen Königsfamilie, wird aber nur für staatliche Zeremonien genutzt. Der Palast befindet sich im Zentrum von Madrid und überblickt den Hauptplatz der Stadt, die Plaza de la Villa. Der Palast wurde im 18. Jahrhundert im Barockstil erbaut und von verschiedenen Architekten entworfen. Das auffälligste Merkmal des Palastes ist der Porzellansalon, der mit komplizierten Mustern aus Porzellanfliesen verziert ist. Der Salon ist eines der beliebtesten touristischen Ziele in Madrid und zieht jedes Jahr Tausende von Besuchern an.
