Wofford, had encroached on the Cherokee Nation of Chief Dick. It is believed that Robert Brown married the chief's daughter and his property was adjacent to the Chief's settlement. Letters from Col. Wofford to Gov. Tattnall and his letter to the President Thomas Jefferson are included along with reports

Wofford to Gov. Tattnall and his letter to the President Thomas Jefferson are included along with reports naming the descendants of Robert Brown, Soldier of the American Revolution (3 generations down) through Benjamin Pollard Brown. Photos of the 1858 wedding dress of BP Brown's wife Caroline are included along with 1793 maps of the area.
