شیر محمد خان مری عرف جنرل شیروف مری نے پاکستان میں پہلی بار گوریلا جنگ کی تیکنیک استعمال کر کے سکیورٹی اہلکاروں کے ساتھ جھڑپیں کیں۔ ان کی زندگی پہاڑوں میں مزاحمت کرتے، قید و بند کی صعوبتیں برداشت کرتے یا پھر جلاوطنی میں گزری۔ شیر محمد خان کی داستانِ حیات

’یہ شخص پاکستان کا فیدل کاسترو ہے۔ اگر قبائلی سردار اور نواب دل سے اس کے ساتھ ہوں تو یہ واقعی بلوچستان کو کیوبا بنا دے۔ مگر یہ دیوانہ اکیلا ہے اور اکیلا ہی رہ جائے گا۔‘

ملتان سے تعلق رکھنے والے بائیں بازو کے دانشور اور سیاست دان سید محمد قصور گردیزی نے یہ الفاظ شیر محمد خان مری کے لیے کہے تھے۔

محمد قصور گردیزی راولپنڈی سازش کیس اور حیدرآباد سازش کیس میں گرفتار ہوئے تھے۔ اُن کا تعلق جاگیردار گھرانے سے تھا تاہم زمانہ طالب علمی میں وہ ترقی پسند سیاست سے متاثر ہوئے اور میر غوث بخش بزنجو کے شریک سفر رہے۔

تو وہ شخص کون ہے جس کو گردیزی صاحب پاکستان کا کاسترو تسلیم کرتے ہیں اور انھوں نے یہ لقب پانے کے لیے کیا کارنامہ سرانجام دیا؟

یہ شخصیت شیر محمد مری کی ہے جو بلوچستان کی مزاحمتی تحریک کے اہم کردار تھے اور جنھوں نے غالباً پاکستان میں پہلی بار گوریلا جنگ کی تکنیک استعمال کر کے پاکستانی فوج کے ساتھ جھڑپیں کیں۔ ان کی زندگی پہاڑوں میں مزاحمت کرتے، قید و بند کی صعوبتیں برداشت کرتے یا پھر جلاوطنی میں گزری۔
