The wooden frame keeps the batteries separate from your feathered friends, and the plastic casement provides weather resistance. A back tab with predrilled hole swings upward, making placement of the house against a wall, post, or fence easy. The generous, rectangular base can also accommodate a mounting plate (not included) for display on a pole or post.
