Rye scarf kit

This kit is for a Rye scarf and contains a pattern and one skein four ply weight Sap base sparkley silver yarn. No needles are included. It comes in an organza bag so would make a lovely gift.

Sap is a merino wool, nylon and silver yarn made of 75% Superwash Merino Wool, 20% Nylon, 5% Silver Stelina and the skein is 100g and 400m.  

This is a soft and squishy yarn with non-scratchy silver added to it to give a sparkle to it. 

The finished size of the scarf is : 128 cm (50 1/2 inches) long, 22 cm (8 1/2 inches) wide. It is knitted on 4 mm (US size 6) needles.

It would make a great gift for the knitter in your life.

I have tried to capture the colour of the yarn as accurately as possible. Please bear in mind that monitors vary and colours can be perceived differently.

Due to the nature of hand dyeing, the colours in each skein may be slightly different and no two skeins will be identical. As with any hand dyed wool, if using more than one skein then alternating skeins on every couple of rows will help to balance any slight differences.

I have rinsed the yarn until it runs clear. However, some dye may remain.
I recommend you soak your finished item in a gentle/pH neutral soap. Natural dyes can change or fade slightly as they age. Hang to dry away from direct sunlight and store in a dark place.
