Product Overview

LDOs (bimetallic oxides) are obtained from LDHs by roasting at a specific temperature. With the increase of temperature, the phase transition occurs through dehydration, dehydroxylation, and interlayer anion gasification to metal oxides. XFL12 is obtained from XFL11 flower-like MgAl-LDH. Layered double hydroxides (LDHs) are 2D hydrotalcite materials consisting of a positively charged main layer and exchangeable interlayer anions. Generally, it can be expressed as [M2+1-xM3+x(OH)2]x+[(An-)x/n]x-·mH2O (M2+ and M3+ are bivalent Ni2+, Co2+, Fe2+ and trivalent metal ions Al3+, V3+ and Cr3+, respectively, and An- is an interlayer anion (carbonate and nitrate). x is the molar ratio of M3+/(M2++M3+). For the preparation of LDHs, the main preparation methods include chemical precipitation, hydrothermal method, solvothermal method and so on. 1. The chemical precipitation method uses homogeneous chemical precursors as the substrate material, in which two or more metal ions are intricately mixed together and produce synergies to form the desired material. The main preparation process is to dissolve the bivalent and trivalent metal nitrate chemicals in deionized water with a certain molar ratio, and stir for a period of time at the appropriate temperature (generally 60 ° C), and then add the NaOH solution drop by drop and maintain the pH of the solution at about 10 ~ 11, stir for a period of time, and place it at the appropriate temperature after aging. 2. Hydrothermal method is usually used to enhance the crystallinity of layered double hydroxides. Hydrothermal method can obtain well-crystallized and evenly layered double hydroxides. The main preparation process is to mix the bivalent and trivalent metal nitrate chemicals and urea in aqueous solution to form a homogeneous solution in a certain ratio, and then add it to the reaction kettle for the corresponding time to prepare. 3. Solvothermal method is a simple and environmentally friendly method. Similar to the hydrothermal method, the difference is that hydrothermal is to mix two metals in an aqueous solution to form a homogeneous solution, while solvothermal is to mix two metals in an organic solution to form a homogeneous solution, and then put it into the reactor at a higher temperature reaction preparation.

Product Features

Layered structure reconfiguration ability: Under the right conditions, LDO can reabsorb water molecules and anions and return to the original layered structure.

High specific surface area: The calcination process results in structural changes, usually resulting in a large specific surface area.

Abundant alkaline sites: there are more alkaline active sites.

Improved adsorption performance: It has stronger adsorption capacity for various pollutants, such as heavy metal ions and organic pollutants.

Enhanced catalytic activity: showed better catalytic performance in some catalytic reactions.

Good thermal stability: After calcination treatment, thermal stability is usually improved.

Application Fields

Contaminant removal: used to remove heavy metal ions from water, such as lead and cadmium. The alkaline site and large specific surface area on the surface of LDO can effectively adsorb these ions and reduce the content of heavy metals in water.

Catalytic field: Used as catalyst or catalyst carrier for organic synthesis reactions. For example, in some hydrogenation reactions, LDO can improve the selectivity and conversion rate of the reaction.

Gas adsorption and separation: used for adsorption and separation of carbon dioxide and other gases.

Organic synthesis: LDO was used as a carrier supported precious metal catalyst to catalyze the olefin hydrogenation reaction, which significantly improved the efficiency and selectivity of the reaction.

Toddler approved!
Format: Board book
My 2 year old loves this book! The pictures are beautiful, he's learned the names of all of the bugs, and it's a nice small size that's easy to read using one hand with my toddler in my lap before bedtime. I bought this when he was around 18 months old and it is still a hit.

Great book!
Format: Board book
I really like this book it includes: ladybug, bumblebee, praying mantis, firefly and (monarch) butterfly. So a good selection of bugs a small child is likely to experience in their yard or park in North America. For the photo board book aged children I really prefer that they discuss vocabulary that the child will be able to use to describe the world around them so I appreciate that most kids will see most of these bugs fairly easily and frequently. I did question the praying mantis since I see them much less frequently than the other bugs in the book but my husband said it is an exciting bug when kids do see it so he supports the choice--I think a fly or mosquito might have been a somewhat more useful choice as far as vocabulary our son could use most often. I liked that they did say the butterfly was a monarch but typically used butterfly so if a child lives where other butterflies are more common they learned the more general term. I think fireflies are less common in some regions but they are so magical as a small child that I think it is a good choice.

Son loves it
Format: Board book
Sturdy enough for 19 month old. He loved learning about the insects and looking for them outside. I love the real pictures and facts.
