Intelligent DC Power Management
The heart of the WS-8-150-DC is its 150W SMART DC power supply, which accepts a wide 9V to 72V DC input, making it perfect for solar, wind, or battery-powered sites. This intelligent system provides uninterrupted 24V and 48V passive PoE to connected devices. Crucially, it actively monitors the input voltage, current, and internal temperatures. You can program the switch to automatically shed load by shutting down lower-priority PoE ports when battery levels are low and restore them once sufficient power from charging sources is detected, preserving your site's uptime.
Robust Performance and Connectivity
Featuring six 1Gbps PoE ports and two SFP fiber uplink ports, this switch provides ample connectivity for your network hardware. It delivers software-configurable passive PoE (24V, 48V, and high-power 24VH/48VH options) to power a wide range of equipment, including high-end radios like airFIBER, Mimosa, and SAF. The non-blocking throughput ensures maximum performance across all ports without creating bottlenecks.
Advanced Layer 2 Management
The WS-8-150-DC boasts a comprehensive suite of management features accessible through a simple yet powerful user interface. Key software capabilities include VLAN (dot1Q/QinQ), STP/RSTP/MSTP, LACP/static port aggregation, SNMP for statistical reporting, and SMTP for configurable alerts.
