Six Questions Your CarePatrol Franchise Financial Model Must Answer

We built this franchise unit financial model using our own research to provide a realistic look at the senior placement sector. Key assumptions, including the $57,000 initial fee and a Year 1 EBITDA of $320,000, are pre-populated and fully editable to match your specific territory. This is a data-driven look at unit-level performance.

What is the profitability trajectory?

The unit hits the ground running with a $320,000 EBITDA in the first year, scaling significantly as referral networks mature. You will defintely see net profit margins improve as travel and tour expenses drop from 3.5% to 2.7% over five years. Profitability hits fast if you manage the advisor pipeline.

Improve Unit Margins

  • Optimize advisor travel routes
  • Increase high-tier placement volume
  • Scale digital lead conversion
[dynamic_pic9]

How much capital is required and how is it allocated?

You need approximately $133,500 in upfront capital to cover the franchise fee, office setup, and the company vehicle. This doesn't include your working capital buffer, which is critical since the model shows a minimum cash requirement of $1.136 million during the ramp-up phase. Your biggest check goes to the brand and the wheels.

Major Capital Uses

  • Franchise Fee: $57,000
  • Office Improvements: $20,000
  • Company Vehicle: $18,000
[dynamic_pic10]

What is the return on investment?

Investors can expect an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 16.58% and a Return on Equity (ROE) of 3.33. While the unit is highly profitable from year one, the total payback of the initial investment occurs after the five-year mark due to the heavy initial cash requirements. Patience is required as the full payback extends past the five-year mark.

Key Investment Metrics

  • IRR: 16.58%
  • ROE: 3.33
  • Payback: After Year 5
[dynamic_pic11]

What is the break-even point?

The unit reaches break-even in March 2026, just three months after the initial launch. This quick turnaround is driven by the low overhead of the advisory model and the high average commission per placement. Three months to break-even is a sprint, not a marathon.

Levers for Speed

  • Secure hospital referral contracts
  • Minimize pre-opening rent
  • Front-load advisor training
[dynamic_pic12]

What is the cash runway and lowest cash point?

The lowest cash point occurs in March 2026, coinciding with your break-even month, where you need at least $1.136 million on hand to maintain operations safely. This suggests you need a significant liquidity cushion to handle the timing gap between placements and commission payouts. Cash is your oxygen during the first quarter of operations.

Protect Your Cash

  • Stagger advisor hiring dates
  • Lease instead of buying vehicles
  • Negotiate tiered rent steps
[dynamic_pic13]

How do scenarios change the outcome?

In a high-growth scenario, reaching $2.1 million in revenue by year five pushes EBITDA past the $1 million mark annually. Conversely, if placement volume lags, the 12% combined royalty and marketing fee can squeeze margins if your fixed costs like the $3,500 monthly rent aren't covered. High-performance scenarios turn a solid business into a local powerhouse.

Hit the High Case

  • Dominate local SEO rankings
  • Host monthly community seminars
  • Maintain 100% tour attendance

Works great! Buying more.
Size: 10 Outlet
Works great! Love the feature that allows you the ability to turn individual plugs off and on. The ability to run the chords through both ends for a clean look is a nice feature too. In the process of buying two more for the bedrooms.

Versatile, High-Quality Power Strip for Home Use
Size: 6 Outlet
Nice, Heavy-Duty Power Strip that can be used in many ways. I installed two of these strips in my garage and am pleased with the results. The individual switches for each plug is a plus if you need that amount of control. The strip mounted easily. The materials and quality appear to be excellent, telling me that the power strip will last many years.

Review of product 9-20-24
Size: 6 Outlet
Have yet to use the product however writing a placeholder reveiw for now. I spent nearly an hour or maybe more looking at sooooo many surge protector/power strips at least 100 on 8 different websites and let me tell you.. not sure on quality but OMG good luck on trying to find a high joules this one being 3300J that also has individual off and on switches and be heavy duty at this price point.. nothing to do with price point even they simply don't make them.. this is the legit only one.. the rest were low joules around 1200J did not have individual switches, or were not heavy duty. So If I wanted all of these things this was the product I had to choose from. That being said this does look like a decent quality item that will actually last me several years possibly my lifetime. I prefer to buy quality products that actually work as intended for a minimum of 10 years of quality service life regardless of what product I am buying. 10 years of quality service life is a reasonable standard for products that would potentially see daily use. the standard for those that might not know used to be 100 years of quality service which was most people's lifetime on all products regardless of what they were, however the whole. History lesson for those that don't know about manufacturing goods. Planned obsolescence is In economics and industrial design, planned obsolescence (also called built-in obsolescence or premature obsolescence) is the concept of policies planning or designing a product with an artificially limited useful life or a purposely frail design, so that it becomes obsolete after a certain predetermined period of time upon which it decrementally functions or suddenly ceases to function, or might be perceived as unfashionable. I like to call out products and companies that are not making quality goods and also causing world pollution, to further decrease from 100 years quality standard to 10 years and companies still have problems meeting my lowered standard of 10 years is insane to me that people let themself be used like this, and end up supporting these terribly manufactured goods. These low quality goods end up contributing to world pollution on a massive scale over the years.

Great for my workshop
Size: 10 Outlet
So I love these long strips. There's a few companies that make these but when I saw the individual power switches on this for each outlet, I thought this would be great for my workshop desk. Now I can know for sure that the power is off to a particular device and I don't have to go plugging in and unplugging to be safe. Just hit the switch. I also like that there are plenty of outlets so I don't have to unplug something just to plug something else in. I don't often use all the devices at the same time so this works out perfectly for me.

I need more of these
Size: 6FT, Style: 1 Pack
I recently picked up the HHSOET Rotating Mountable Power Strip to tame the chaos of cords in my home office, and I’ve got to say, it’s been a fantastic addition. With 12 outlets, a sleek black metal design, and a clever rotating feature, this thing delivers both function and style in spades. Right out of the box, the build quality impressed me. The all-metal construction feels rugged and durable—definitely a step above those flimsy plastic power strips I’ve used in the past. It’s got a solid heft to it, which gives me confidence it’ll hold up under daily use, whether I’m plugging in my laptop, monitors, or a slew of chargers. The black finish adds a stylish touch, blending seamlessly with my setup instead of sticking out like an eyesore. The standout feature for me is the 360-degree rotating design. I mounted it under my desk using the included screws (super easy install, by the way), and being able to swivel the outlets to the perfect angle made cable management a breeze. Whether I needed the plugs facing forward for easy access or tucked back to keep things tidy, this power strip adapted effortlessly. It’s such a smart touch for a versatile setup—great for everything from a gaming rig to a workshop bench. With 12 outlets, I’ve got more than enough space for all my gear. The spacing isn’t super wide, so bulky adapters might block neighboring slots, but I managed to fit my essentials without too much hassle. The 6-foot power cord is a nice length—long enough to reach my wall outlet without needing an extension, but not so long that it’s a tangled mess. Plus, the built-in 1200-joule surge protector gives me peace of mind, knowing my pricey electronics are safe from power spikes. The on/off switch is another handy perk. It’s got a satisfying click and a light to show when it’s powered, making it easy to cut power to everything at once without unplugging a single cord. I’ve found it especially useful for saving energy when I’m done for the day. There are a couple of small quirks. The outlets are a bit close together, so if you’ve got a lot of oversized plugs, you might not use all 12 spots. Also, while the metal body looks great, it’s a fingerprint magnet—nothing a quick wipe won’t fix, though. Mounting was straightforward, but I’d recommend double-checking your surface; the included screws worked fine on wood, but drywall might need anchors. All in all, the HHSOET Rotating Mountable Power Strip is a sturdy, stylish, and versatile solution for anyone juggling multiple devices. It’s transformed my cluttered desk into a clean, organized workspace. If you’re looking for a heavy-duty power strip that doesn’t compromise on looks or utility, this one’s a winner.
