This summer, Storefront Studio went to Gig Harbor, a waterfront town located on Gig Harbor Bay in Puget Sound, across the Narrows Bridge from Tacoma. With the support of the Gig Harbor Downtown Waterfront Alliance and the Washington State Main Streets Program, the studio identified nine districts in which the townÕs existing assets could be enhanced to stimulate conversation, encourage economic viability and revitalize the imageability of downtown Gig Harbor.
