Deze Salie word ook wel Spaanse Salie genoemd. Het groeit in de bergen van Spanje. Het is een groenblijvende struik met kleine paarse bloemen. De geur lijkt op de spijk Lavendel. De etherische olie word gewonnen d.m.v. stoom destillatie.

Salie staat vooral bekend om zijn helende en zuiverende werking, zowel bij fysiek als mentaal gebruik. Salie in een aromabrander werkt zuiverend in een ruimte waar negatieve energie hangt en geeft rust en duidelijkheid. Het is een veelzijdige olie die voor vele zaken ingezet kan worden o.a.: Huid, spieren en gewrichten, doorbloeding, volle neusholtes, nervositeit.
