Kan ook nog in eigen kelder gewoon doorrijpen.

Over de wijn

Crusted Port is een zeer Britse creatie, sterk geassocieerd met de Britse porthuizen en vaak oorspronkelijk gebotteld uit vat in het Verenigd Koninkrijk. Sinds de bulkexport in 1996 werd stopgezet, is dit werk nu beperkt tot de kelders in Portugal. De wijn is een blend van verschillende jaargangen, elk minimaal twee jaar gerijpt in vaten, alvorens te blenden en te bottelen zonder filtratie. De wijn wordt vervolgens vaak drie jaar op fles gerijpt voordat hij op de markt wordt gebracht. De enige datum van betekenis is de botteldatum, waaruit iets van de waarschijnlijke betrokken jaargangen kan worden afgeleid. In het glas heeft het nog donkere karmozijnen tint. De neus is direct en krachtig. Zelfverzekerd met een romige textuur naar het zwarte fruit, geparfumeerd met viooltjes, rozenblaadjes en teer. Ondersteund door rijpe tannines en fijne zuren. Indrukwekkend. De stijl lijkt op Vintage port, omdat hij rijkelijk gestructureerd en gearomatiseerd is, maar zonder het geld te hoeven neerleggen dat gewoonlijk nodig is voor dergelijke wijnen, noch de vele decennia te hoeven wachten die Vintage port gewoonlijk vereist voordat hij klaar is om te drinken.

Almost perfect...upraised logo should be left off
This toy is great for relentless chewers with strong jaws! It would be almost perfect if it didn't have a "K9" logo in raised rubber on it. That is the place that my aggressive chewer shepherd/bulldog mix focuses on and is able to get small chunks off. Without that logo, he would chew the ball more evenly, instead of fixating on that one spot. He loves this ball and has chewed on it for about an hour off & on each of the 11 days he has had it.
