Al naso note fruttate lievi e sentori di pasticceria. In bocca è sapido, fresco, con un finale leggermente agrumato.

I Franciacorta Vintage Collection sono il frutto di un’accurata selezione delle uve e di una sapiente vinificazione condotta nel pieno rispetto del Metodo Ca’ del Bosco. Le uve, appena raccolte a mano in piccole cassette, vengono classificate, raffreddate e sottoposte a un particolare sistema di lavaggio e idromassaggio dei grappoli. Dopo la pigiatura, tutti i mosti dei vini base fermentano in piccole botti di rovere per circa 5 mesi per poi procedere alla creazione della cuvée. Il "Vintage Collection" Satèn 2020 è frutto di un’annata consacrata ai vini bianchi, caratterizzati da estrema eleganza e finezza con profilo aromatico più floreale-agrumato che frutto giallo o esotico. Viene prodotto mediante una sapiente unione di 30 vini base di chardonnay e pinot bianco. L’aggiunta di zuccheri in quantità minore rispetto agli altri Franciacorta gli conferisce cremosità e un particolare profilo, elegante e morbido, ulteriormente rafforzato da un lungo affinamento in bottiglia. Rimane sui lieviti per 48 mesi. Il dégorgement avviene in assenza di ossigeno, utilizzando un sistema unico al mondo, ideato e brevettato da Ca’ del Bosco. Questo evita shock ossidativi e ulteriori aggiunte di solfiti, rendendo questo Franciacorta più puro e più longevo.

UPDATE 2: The vendor proactively reached out to me and sent me a replacement. The replacement works well so I’ve given them 5 Stars. UPDATE: It really doesn’t ever go in straight so every cork is at risk for breaking off. I lowered rating to two. It ultimately works about 85% of the time. Meh. Works most of the time, but has issues. It wrecks corks much more often than the Brookstone one we had before. It seems to twist in sideways so that it runs along the glass of the bottle neck instead of straight down. This causes it to destroy the corks fairly frequently… and on occasion it destroys it so much that you can’t get the cork out at all. Pros: Quiet Has the bottle sealers and suction. Recharges on base. Cons: Damages corks Sometimes destroys corks to point of not being able to extract them. Goes in crooked.
