De set komt met preparaat- en dekglazen om zelf preparaten te maken. Daarnaast wordt deze microscoop geleverd met een uitgebreide accessoireset. De instelbare led-verlichting kan worden gebruikt als invallend licht voor het bekijken van doorzichtige objecten en als doorvallend licht voor het bekijken van transparante objecten. De microscoop kent verschillende vergrotingen tussen de 40x – 2000x waarmee het bijgeleverde materiaal goed onderzocht kan worden. De verlichting van de microscoop werkt via de drie dubbele AA-batterijen. Zo is de microscoop multi-inzetbaar en overal te gebruiken. Met behulp van het kleurenfilterwiel kan de kleur van het licht worden ingesteld. De kop van de microscoop kan 360° worden gedraaid, zo kan eenvoudigweg de mislukte kijkpositie worden ingesteld.
