Blue Cover variant.
Early US pressing on second Columbia dark red with gold print label design. Along the bottom edge it reads, "LONG PLAYING MICROGROOVE" on one line with the LP logo between "playing" and "microgroove". At the very bottom of the label, bending around the edge, is fine print which reads, "Trade Marks Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. Marcas Registradas Made in U.S.A. Pats Pending". The Columbia logo is smaller located within the circle, at the bottom.
Comes with pink jacket, issued with a stiff paper cover that opened at the top. This was made as a one-piece paper foldover that was glued on the back using flaps on the right and left sides. Later issues used different colors and used standard cardboard jackets opening at the side.
