The blanket has a soft luxurious feel, making it a timeless classic and a great long-term investment.
It is made from quick-drying heavyweight fleece that transports moisture to the surface of the rug. Once on the surface, sweat and moisture evaporates rapidly.
In winter, the blanket can dry your horse in as little as five minutes, thus preventing him from becoming cold after bathing or washing off.
The polyester fabric has the look of wool, but unlike wool, shavings can easily be brushed off the blanket. It is also more durable and user-friendly than wool as it can be machine washed while retaining its quality.
The blanket is available in a choice of three sizes, the largest of which measures 210cm x 200cm, so has a generous size that makes it incredibly versatile. It can be used with the blanket covering the neck or folded back as required. As it does not put pressure on the mane, there is no need to worry about rubbing in this sensitive area. There are also no front closures or surcingles to be concerned about.
Machine washable at 30 degrees, Kentucky advise against tumble drying to avoid pilling of the fabric.
The Kentucky Heavy Fleece Square Blanket is available in a Grey and Bordeaux fishbone design in sizes 140 x 120cm, 140 x 160cm or 210cm x 200cm.
