Capturing the original SurfyBear spring reverb tone in a compact package is no easy task, but the Compact Reverb meets the challenge and more. A new addition to the SurfyBear Reverb model is the second mixer setting. Mixer settings affect the balance of “wet” and “dry” signals, and, between the first and second mixer controls and corresponding footswitch, players can swap between different effect settings on the fly. Along with two mix settings, the SurfyBear Compact Reverb features a decay control to adjust the trail of the reverb from short and tight to long and lasting.
