DESCRIPTION: Love the mocha tone on this relaxed-fit trench. The style and cut make this the perfect piece for layering over heavier wool knits or other warm liners. Transition effortlessly from fall into winter with a silhouette that feels modern yet timeless. This trench is all about versatility—its rich mocha hue pairs beautifully with neutral palettes or bold seasonal tones, while the relaxed fit invites creative layering. Think oversized knits, tailored trousers, and statement boots for a look that’s chic, confident, and undeniably current.
HISTORY: Clothing labels from the mid-to-late 20th century served as more than identifiers—they were emblems of quality and craftsmanship. The “Outdoor” brand, paired with phrases like “Distinctively Styled” and “Of Quality,” reflects a period when durability and fashion were marketed hand in hand, catering to consumers seeking versatile outerwear for both style and function.
Born from necessity in the early 20th century, the trench coat was crafted as a practical alternative to the heavy greatcoats worn by soldiers in the trenches of World War I. Designed by pioneers like Thomas Burberry and Aquascutum, this iconic garment was originally made from waterproof cotton gabardine—lightweight yet durable, offering protection against the harsh elements of war. What began as military gear soon became a symbol of timeless style, blending function and elegance in a way few garments ever have.

MEASUREMENTS: I would call this a Medium masculine cut judging by how it fits me as a very oversized garment. I'm typically and Small feminine cut and find this just a little too wide in the shoulders and arms. I would say this is more of a feminine Large to get that proper oversized style without it feeling overwhelming. As usual please refer to the below measurements for most accurate fit.
