Our Selfie Spoon + Fork ™ is the perfect cutlery set for little ones learning to self-feed. They feature a short, thick handle that is perfect for little hands to grip. The spoon has a narrow and shallow spoon bowl which is ideal for a baby learning to eat from a spoon. Imagine yourself trying to eat off a soup ladle; it’s too wide and uncomfortable to fit in your mouth and it’s too deep to take food out of with your lips. This is exactly what it feels like for babies when we give them a huge spoon (like many others on the market). The fork features a “spork” style design which looks like a fork but functions like a spoon (silicone being bendable is never going to spike foods), but anyone who has a baby will know that babies like to have what we have so we have created a fork that can be used for scooping! It allows babies to learn the hand-to-mouth and scooping aspects of cutlery while having similar-looking utensils to their favourite humans (that’s you). Both spoon and fork also feature our silicone rim around the tip which works as both a choke guard to prevent babies from pushing the spoon or fork too far into the mouth and a guide to help them learn where to place their hands.
