Friedrich Johann Bertush (1747 - 1822) was a German publisher and patron of arts. His famous encyclopaedia for children included 12 volumes and over 1200 engraved plates on science, industry and innovation, mythology and wide variety of other subjects, published from 1790 to 1830.
